    The SEVIS ID and SCHOOL CODE are located on the I-20 form. As shown in the image, the SEVIS ID begins with "N" followed by 10 digits. The SCHOOL CODE is a 15-character combination of letters and numbers.

    The SEVIS ID, PROGRAM NUMBER, and CATEGORY are located on the DS-2019 form. As shown in the image, the SEVIS ID begins with "N" followed by 10 digits. The PROGRAM NUMBER is a 7-character combination of letters and numbers.

    You must have a complete and accurate DS-2019 form. If you do not have the DS-2019 form, or if the information on the form is incorrect, please contact your program coordinator.

    Do not make payment for dependents or spouses holding J-2 visas. These visa types do not require SEVIS I-901 fee payment for dependents or spouses.
